Henry W. Paulson, 67, of Rochester passed away at 1:23 AM on Sunday, December 10, 2023 at his residence.

On September 30, 1956, Henry Walter was born in Chicago to John Donald and Helen Florence Kalma Paulson.  Proudly, Henry graduated with the Class of 1973 from Wells High School of Chicago. Answering the call of patriotism, Henry served with the US Army and was honorably discharged in 1977.

With a strong work ethic, Henry was a fabricator for Rochester Metal Products. Grandpa cherished the time with his grandchildren. Handing out treats on Halloween to the neighborhood kids was always enjoyed. He was known for his kind heart as he helped the elderly. On Wednesday nights he could be found watching M.A.S.H. and wrestling, but scary movies, especially Bigfoot was a favorite. He liked to go antiquing to see what new treasures could be found.  Listening to country music and Elvis was a great way to relax. Henry always had a great respect for Chinese women.

Left to cherish the memories of Henry are his lifelong friend and former wife, Patricia Ann Hughes Paulson; three daughters: Helen Burden and fiancé Alfredo Barrientoz of Macy, Sandra Jimenez of Kokomo, Linda Franz of Rochester and longtime friend Judy; brother Adolph D. Paulson and wife Patricia of Maywood, IL; eight grandchildren:  Christina Wagers, Jackie Holloway, Alexandra Martir, Antionette Castellano, Braxton Jimenez, Teagan Powell, Henry John Paulson, Randy Franz Jr.;  six great grandchildren: Addison Marie Wagers, Elizabeth Grace Wagers, Anthony Troy Wagers, Nevaeh Ann Paulson,  Kalvin Andrew Franz  and Memphis Grady Paulson on board, due to arrive March 9, 2024.

Preceding Henry in death are his parents, infant daughter Donna Paulson, and four siblings: Butch, Katie, Charlotte and Cookie.

A celebration of the life of Henry Paulson will be at 6:00 PM on Thursday,  December 14, 2023 in the Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 West 18th St., Rochester.  Friends may visit with the family from 4-6 PM on Thursday in the funeral home.

Military honors will be conducted by the Fulton County Veteran's Honor Guard and the US Army Honors Team.
