Mr. Gerald "Jerry" F. Emmons Sr., 73, of Madison, FL and formerly of Rochester, passed away at 12:05 PM on Tuesday, January 9 , 2018.

On December 18 , 1944 Jerry was born in Logansport  to Chester B. and Mary Etta Mollencupp Emmons.  Growing up he shared his childhood with his sister Linda.   With great Indian pride he graduated from Kewanna High School in 1962.

Gifted with his hands, Jerry had great expertise with tool and die working as a machinist for printing companies including Cuneo Printing of Kokomo.  He was also a member of the Eagles  #255 of Kokomo.

Left to cherish memories of Jerry include five sons: Anthony B. Emmons and wife Dorothy of Rochester, Gerald F. "Rick" Emmons  Jr. of Rochester, Andrew D. Emmons and wife Tammy of Logansport, Mark A. Emmons and wife Kim of Greenwood, Jeffrey D. Emmons and wife Tina of Kokomo; one daughter, Sunshine Henson-Baker and husband Michael of New Orleans, LA; a sister, Linda Harrold and companion Phil Collins of Warsaw; mothers of his children: Carolyn Glaze and Rebecca "Becky" Howell; numerous grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and two nieces.  Preceding Jerry in death are his parents; wife Nancy Emmons in 2013; a son, Stephen E. Emmons on May 15 , 2000; a sister, Paulette Radarstorf; and a brother, Michael Raderstorf, both in 1969.

Private family services will be held. Interment will be in the Kewanna IOOF Cemetery.
