Gary W. Hodge, 71, of Akron, passed away at 5:40 AM on Monday May 13, 2024.

On July 13, 1952 Gary Wayne was born in Osgood to Albert Oscar and  Vivian Lucille Robinson Hodge. Growing up he shared his childhood with two sisters and two brothers. Proudly he graduated from Indiana Academy of Cicero in 1971.

Gary and Cheryl Louise Randall were married on December 14, 1986. They shared 37 years of life's adventures. Sadly, she passed away on December 13, 2023.

Gary was a professional truck driver and a brick mason.  He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church of Rochester.

Left to cherish the memory of Gary are three sons: Richard Hodge of Mooresboro, NC, Edward Hodge of Shelby, NC, George Hodge and wife Kelly of Englewood, OH; three grandchildren: Zoey Hodge, Nivea Hodge, Logan Hodge; sister Judy Blackburn of Fort Wayne; and brother George Hodge of Michigan.

Preceding Gary in death are his parents, wife, sister Roberta Blackburn and brother Larry Hodge.

Services for Gary W. Hodge will be held at a later date.
