Gary L. Beatty, 64, of Rochester passed away at 8:22 PM Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at Lutheran Hospital of Fort Wayne.

On January 26, 1959, Gary Lynn was born in Rochester to Loren Lee and Flossie Louise Eash Beatty. Growing up he shared his childhood with a brother Steve. He was a lifetime Fulton County resident.

Gary worked in maintenance and grounds keeping for Life Care Center of Rochester. As a material picker, Gary worked for Rochester Iron and Metal for a number of years. Many will remember Gary as their server at Tweedle Dee Dee's. Over the years, Gary enjoyed landscaping and grooming his trees. He was proud to drive his 77 black Corvette around the county, but gave it up for a Buick, his "old man car". Grandpa cherished the time with his grandchildren and watching their events.

Left to share the memories of Gary are his son Logan Beatty and wife Cassandra of Kewanna, seven grandchildren and two nephews. Preceding Gary in death are his parents, brother Steve Beatty and an infant sister, Debra Sue Beatty.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
