Fred Zellers' Obituary
He was born May 26 , 1923, to Murlen and Louise (Gorseline) Zellers. After graduating from Rochester High School in 1941, he proudly served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. After serving as a mathematical calibration specialist on an ordnance transport ship in the English Channel he returned to Fulton County to farm.
On July 22 , 1951, he married Mary Jane Jeffrey. Together they built their family business, Fred's proudest achievement.
He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, where he had served as a trustee.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Jane; his daughters Julie (Rick) Korte, Indianapolis, Nancy (Ron) Miller, Culver, and Janet (Dan) Cox, Zurich, Switzerland; granddaughters Amanda Miller, Bremen, Cindy Miller, Cleveland, Ohio, Taylor Cox, Los Angeles, Calif., and Alexandra Cox, Zurich, Switzerland; and his brothers Louis, Azusa, Calif., and Phillip, Manassas, Va.
Pastor Kerry O'Brien will officiate services. Burial will follow at Rochester's IOOF Cemetery.
