Francisco Batista Pagan, 98, of Rochester passed away today at Life Care Center of Rochester where he had been a patient since yesterday. Born on January 15, 1917 in Ponce, Puerto Rico he was the treasured son of Juan Batista Pagan. Growing up, he shared his childhood with a brother Felix and a sister Juanita. With a strong work ethic, Francisco was a dedicated employee of Inland Steel, retiring after 37 years of service. Left to cherish Francisco's memory are his daughter Nancy Agne of Rochester; a sister Monice' and a brother Felix Batista Pagan both of Ponce, Puerto Rico; two grandchildren: Noel R. Mojica, Michelle N. Mojica; and a special niece Olga Pagan of Rochester. He was preceeded in death by his parents and a sister Juanita Andujar. Interment will be in the Ridgelawn Cemetery in Griffith.
