Mrs. Frances P. Bowersox, 98, formerly of Leiters Ford and Dunedin, FL, passed away at 12:05 AM, Friday, April 29th, 2011 at Millers Merry Manor, Walkerton. She was born in a sod house on a homestead near Garland, Oklahoma on April 19, 1913, to Grover Cleveland and Pearl Bunnell Kline. Frances is survived by 2 sons, John Bowersox and wife Ruth of Dunedin, FL, Thomas Bowersox and wife Diane of South Bend; 3 Grandchildren, 8 great- grandchildren, and 7 great great grandchildren; 3 sisters: Bernice Hartz, Martha Glintzer, and Dorothy Talbot. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a grandson, Dean Bowersox, 3 sisters, Betty Stayton, Margaret Corbin, LaJune Welling and a brother Robert Kline. A celebration on the life of Frances Bowersox will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 4, 2011 in the Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 W. 18th St., Rochester with Father Burt Woolson officiating. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service in the funeral home. Interment will follow at the Leiters Ford Cemetery.
