Eugene Earl Beck, 85, of Rochester was surrounded by his loving family when he passed away at 5:35 PM on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at Lutheran Hospital in Ft. Wayne.

On April 29, 1939 Eugene Earl was born in Lemont, IL to Eugene and Henrietta Kasten Beck.  Growing up he shared his childhood with three sisters: Barbara, Vera and Emily.  With great pride, Gene graduated from Lemont Catholic High School in Lemont, Illinois with his class in 1957.
On December 9, 1967, Gene married Mary Ann Thorrington in Argos.  They enjoyed over 57 years of life's adventures.  From their union came a daughter Dora Ann.

With great patriotism, Gene served our country with the United States Air Force as a jet engine mechanic.  He initiated his service during the Vietnam War then retired after 22 years.

Left to cherish Gene's memory are his loving wife Mary Ann of Rochester; daughter, Dora Ann Beck of North Manchester; 3 sisters: Barbara Carter of Lemont, IL, Vera Cash of Willington, IL, and Emily Lund of Meadville, PA.

Gene was preceded in death by his parents and daughter Dawn Evol in 2017.

Following Gene's wishes private family services will be observed.
