Erica Ann Wilber Slone, 46 of Rochester passed away on Tuesday, September 18 , 2018 at her residence.

On October 30 , 1971, Erica Ann Wilber was born in Bloomington.  She was a precious daughter of  James William and Doris Booker Wilber.  Growing up she shared her childhood with a sister Kelly. With great Zebra pride, she graduated from Rochester High School in 1990.

Continuing her education at Ivy Tech, Erica earned her Licensed Practical Nursing degree.  She was a beloved nurse, remembered for her compassion,  patience, and professional demeanor  to her patients. Nurse Erica put her skills to work at Camelot in Logansport, Miller's Merry Manor in Plymouth,  Mason Health Care in Warsaw and Life Care Center at Rochester.

Erica was a devoted member of the 1st Christian Church, Rochester.   To relax she enjoyed reading and playing cards especially euchre and Shanghi.  Aunt Erica looked forward to visits from her nephews and playing the board game Waterworks.  She also enjoyed the company of her canine companio n Sophie, the cream colored Schnauzer-Pomeranian blend.

Left to cherish Erica's memory are  her parents Jim and Doris Wilber; a sister, Kelly Mills and husband Troy of Ajijic, Mexico; and two nephews, Trevor Mills of Fort Worth and Adam Mills of Fayetteville, Ark.

A celebration of the life of Erica Ann Wilber Slone will be at 1:00 PM Thursday, September 27 , 2018, in the Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 West 18th Street, Rochester. Friends may visit with her family from 11:00 AM until the hour of the service. Pastor Mike Vanheyingen will officiate.  Burial will follow in the Rochester IOOF Cemetery.
