Emily S. Scarborough, 76, of Delong passed away at 7:35 PM on Thursday, March 17 , 2022 at her home.

On July 29 , 1945, Emily Sharon was born in Morehead, KY to Jerry Marvin and Lorraine Parker Stevens. She was the oldest of three children, sharing her childhood with two sisters.

As a homemaker, Emily treasured the time with her family. She enjoyed traveling, but especially to back to her Kentucky home to visit family.  While on the road, eating out and finding unique shops to explore was a great time.

Left to cherish Emily's memory are two sons, Jerry Rainey and Del Scarborough; five grandchildren: Elizabeth Rainey, Rebecca Rainey, Jacqueline Scarborough, Makayla Scarborough, Makenzie Scarborough; two sisters: Pamela Mann and Donna Farris and husband Bob, all of Delong; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding Emily in death are her parents, husband Howard Scarborough on September 3 , 2019, and daughter Amanda Harriet Scarborough on July 19 , 2006.

A celebration of the life of Emily Scarborough will be at 1:00 PM EST on Thursday, March 24 , 2022 in the Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 West 18 ^th St., Rochester. Michael Bushman will officiate. Friends may visit with the family from 5-7 PM EST on Wednesday, March 23 , 2022 and one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.

Interment will be in the Leiters Ford IOOF Cemetery.
