Mrs. Dorothy E. Haack, 94, of Rochester, passed away Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at Woodlawn Hospital.

On April 30, 1923, Dorothy Emma Kuschel was born in Hammond.  She was the treasured daughter of Theodore and Emma Janz Kuschel.  In 1941 she graduated from Hammond High School.

In Lake County, on June 25, 1945 Dorothy married Mr. Robert George Haack.  From their union came  two handsome sons.  The family tree continued to grow with the added blessings of three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

At home in her kitchen command post Dorothy enjoyed cooking and baking.  Warm apple pie coming from her oven is well remembered.  She was also an avid bingo player.

Private family services were held in the  Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 West 18th St., Rochester.   Interment was in the Chapel Lawn Cemetery of Schererville.
