Mr. Donald Edward Wogomon, 63, of 327 Pontiac St. Rochester, passed away at 7:14 PM, Tuesday, December 27th, 2011 at his residence. He was born Plymouth, on May 16, 1948, to Emery Robert and Ruth A. Galbreath Wogomon. Don was often seen around Rochester, perched upon the street sweeper, keeping our city streets clean. He also ran the grader and the snow plow for the City of Rochester. Fishing in the lakes of Fulton and Marshall Counties was a favorite pastime. He liked to watch westerns, and listen to Elvis and the Solid Gold Oldies. Don enjoyed eating out at Alejandras, Ponderosa and Long John Silvers. He cherished the time spent with his brothers and family. Don loved people of all ages. Donald will be lovingly remembered by 3 brothers: Roy L. Wogomon of Rochester, Jerry A. Wogomon & wife Charlene of Rochester, Chad Swango of Rochester; 2 step brothers: Lance Murphy & wife Lisa of New York, and Wesley Murphy & wife Tina of Texas. Several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Robert D. Wogomon.
