Mrs. Dianna Kay Snowberger, 64, of 501 E. 6th St. Rochester, was surrounded by her loving family when she passed away, at the Indiana University Medical Center in Indianapolis on Saturday. She was born in Fair Haven, Ohio on November 28, 1946, to William and Pearl Sandlin Rader. Growing up she shared her childhood with two brothers, Marvin and Terry. On November 20, 1980, Dianna and David D. Snowberger were married in Rochester. Their union spanned over three decades. Dianna enjoyed reading especially the works of Nicholas Sparks and Mary Higgins Clark. She also enjoyed mysteries, westerns and romance. Her favorite travel destination was Arizona. Prince, her precious kitty offered her feline companionship and kept her company. The simple things in life gave Dianna the most satisfaction, taking a ride in the car, catching a movie or enjoying the sunshine on a beautiful day. Dianna was a proud mom, grandma and more recently a great grandma. Overseeing 4 generations was her pride and joy, family was paramount in her life. Dianna is lovingly remembered by her husband David, at home; a daughter, Peggie A. Hurst & fiancé Alvin Franklin of Rochester; a son,Kenneth W. Hammel of Rochester; 2 brothers, Marvin Rader & wife Ann of Cottonwood, AZ., and Terry Rader of Tulsa, OK; 3 grandchildren: Brittany Hurst & friend Tyler Maule, Kirstie Hurst and fiancé Mark Smith, and Shania Hurst; 2 Great Grandchildren: Kalel Maule and Xander Smith; sister-in-laws: Carolyn Glaze, Judy Manns, Connie Wilkinson & husband Ron, Janet Winterrowd, Doris Roberts & husband Scott, Barbara Snowberger, and Sharon Glaze; brother-in-law: Robert Coatney; and feline companion: Prince, a long haired domestic cat. She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant son Randall M. Hammel in 1970, and a brother-in-law, Leo Glaze. A celebration of the life of Dianna Kay Snowberger will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 1st in the Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 W. 18th St., Rochester, with Rev. Don Funk officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Friday and one hour prior to the service in the funeral home. Interment will be in the Rochester IOOF Cemetery.
