DeWayne A. Hecht, 38, of Macy passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2024 due to injuries from a motor vehicle accident.

On February 16, 1986 in Kokomo, DeWayne was born to DeWayne Scott and Janice Hecht.  Proudly, he graduated with the class of 2004 from Triton High School.

DeWayne was very upbeat and loved hanging out with friends and family. One of his favorite things to do was 4-wheeling with his dad and friends.

Left to cherish the memories of DeWayne are his step-parents, Bradley and Chaleah Norman; four siblings: Cadin Jackson, Kasen Norman, Isaac Morens, Chiah Norman all of Macy; and best friend Brittany Van Lue of Rochester.

Preceding DeWayne in death are his parents, DeWayne Scott and Janice Hecht and a brother Bryant Matthew Scott.

A celebration of the life of DeWayne A. Hecht will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday, May 30, 2024 in the Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 West 18th St., Rochester. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.

Interment will be in the Plainview Cemetery.
