Dell Allan Kirkland, 37, passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 in Frederick, Maryland.

On May 2, 1983, Dell was born  in Tampa, Florida to Leslie and Sharlett Burks Kirkland. He was raised in Delong, Indiana. He loved playing pranks and making people laugh. Dell could be found on Sundays with his family watching Nascar, he was a huge Dale Earnhardt Sr. fan. Often, he would be in the garage fixing cars and seeing  how loud he could get his stereo system, before he blew out a window.  He enjoyed fishing and floating the river any chance he had.

Survivors include his father, Leslie Kirkland; his mother Sharlett Wolf; two sons: Dalton and Landen; siblings Ashley, Christina, Lesley Ann, Sarah, and Jeffery; and nine nieces and four nephews. He was preceded in death by his step mom, Shari Kirkland, and grandparents Robert Jr. and Irma Kirkland.

A gathering of family and friends of Dell Allan Kirkland will be on Friday, October 2, 2020 from 3-8 PM at the Leiter's Ford Community Building, 7400 Main St. Leiters Ford, IN 46945.
