Mr. David Caddy 59, of Rochester passed away at 4:15 p.m. at the Woodlawn Hospital Emergency Room shortly after admission on November 19, 2011. David was born on November 12, 1952 from the union of Herbert and Norma Wagoner Caddy. Following high school, with great pride, David served our country with the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. On October 24, 1980 in Rochester's 1st Church of God, he married Sharon Sue Reffit. Their marriage spanned over 31 wonderful years. Loyal to his employer, David retired in September of 2011 due to health concerns. To relax he enjoyed Western movies, traveling, and eating out. He also enjoyed taking a ride in the car. Most important to David was his loving family. He adored each one in his own special way and he was always there for them to help out in anyway he could. David is lovingly remembered by his wife: Sharon at home, five daughters: Terra Gallagher and husband Matt, Mary Alldaffer and husband James, Ann Caddy, Lisa Caddy, Holley Caddy; one son, Robert Caddy; a sister Sue Waltz and husband Byron; one brother, Patrick Caddy; and his "Mom"-in-law, Barbara "Mom" Mikesell. Preceding him in death with his parents was his infant children daughter Kelly, son David Allen Jr.; a sister Marilyn Caddy, and a brother Bill Caddy.
