Mr. Curt B. Henriott, 58 , of Rochester, passed away  at 6:30 a.m. Thursday on August 3 , 2017,   at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, Cincinnati, Ohio.

In Waialua, Hawaii, on October 18 , 1958, Curt Baptist Henriott  was born.  He was the treasured son of  Paul D. and Gertrud Elsa Seifert Henriott.   Growing up he shared his childhood with three sisters Desiree, Romy and Bernadette.  During his high school years he excelled in the mechanics classes leading him to his lifelong passion of mechanics, engines and technology.  He graduated from Rochester High School in 1977.

On December 17 , 1977,  in  Valparaiso's  Immanuel Lutheran Church,  Curt married the love of his life  Miss March Marie Boule.  They have shared 40 years of life's adventures.  From their union came two beautiful daughters Amanda and Alicia.  The family tree continued to grow with the added blessings of two grandchildren and another due to arrive late this year.

Following high school, Curt professionalized himself by earning an associate's degree in mechanics from Ivy Tech.  He began working for Ford Motor Company.    From his solid work ethic with knowledge and insight Curt was quickly elevated thru the ranks as one of the esteemed and trusted leaders for Ford, as a senior master technical advisor/instructor at the Universal Technical Institute in Arizona.  He developed and wrote curriculum and implemented methods to teach his understudies about the complexities of mechanics, new innovations while integrating technology.  He also served Ford as a consultant, technical assistant and trouble shooter, promptly resolving the most challenging problems.

Curt was a devoted member of the St. John Lutheran Church, Rochester.  He was also a member of the bikers group A.B.A.T.E. and a life member of the National Rifle Association.

To relax, Curt enjoyed the freedom of motorcycle riding. March shared his passion for cycles and they recently enjoyed an all day ride.  His machines of choice were his 2012 Yamaha Star.  In three short years he enjoyed 84K miles of adventure, cruising to a variety of destinations.  He was the proud owner of a 2015 Harley-Davidson Ultra Unlimited.  Both bikes, his favorite color cobalt blue.  Curt was slated to ride in the marathoner "Iron Butt Race," this fall, a 1000 mile jaunt in 24 hours.

Curt is remembered as a loving husband to March, a thoughtful son to his mother Gertrud, devoted to his daughters and grandchildren.  His heart was bigger than life itself as he was always there for his family and friends.  Curt was right on  to help his daughters' friends, serving as a stable  role model for those who needed a "Dad" to look up to, to consult with and garner wisdom and guidance.  He will be missed as a friend, a source of knowledge and his extraordinary leadership from his blue oval family, Ford.

Left to cherish Curt's memory are  his wife, March; two daughters: Amanda Henriott and companion Todd Eberlein of Indianapolis, Alicia Conner and husband Brandon of Rochester;   his grandchildren: Layknn Inez Davidson, Ian Randall Conner, and Curt Malcolm Baptist Henriott-Conner, due to arrive in December of this year;  his mother, Gertrud Henriott of Rochester; three sisters: Desiree Small and husband Morris Jr. of Logansport; Romy Shortz and companion Paul Bikowski of South Bend, and Bernadette Henriott and husband Edward Regnier of Bourbonais, IL; his beloved canine, Sam, the black toy poodle;  and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding Curt in death are his father, Paul Henriott on August 16 , 2016; father and mother-in-law, Malcolm and Emeline Inez Boule; sister-in-law, Gloria White in February of 2016; a sister-in-law, Sandra Williams; and a brother-in-law, Malcolm Boule.

Rev. Curtis May will officiate services.  Casual dress is requested per Curt's wishes. Burial will  follow in the Rochester IOOF Cemetery.
