Mr. Christopher Alan Holloway, 51, of 6920 E. 500 N. Rochester, passed away at 5:58 p.m. Tuesday, October 25th, 2011 at Memorial Hospital, South Bend. Chris was born on July 29, 1960, to Richard K. and Laura Belle Wilson Holloway. Growing up he shared his childhood with his brother Richard. With great pride he graduated from the Indiana School of the Deaf in Indianapolis. He later attended and graduated from Technical School in Indianapolis, specializing in the area of typsetting. With a work ethic of devotion he was dedicated to Indiana Coded Fabrics for 22 years. Christopher was a craftsman and enjoyed wood working, a skill he learned from his dad. As a clock builder, he would give the time pieces to his family and special friends as gifts. He also custom built wooden pencils. He was a member of the Athens United Methodist Church. Christopher is lovingly remembered by his father, Richard Holloway of Rochester; a brother, Richard L. Holloway & wife Lorna of Rochester; nieces and nephews, Della Boyd; Alex Boyd & wife Debbie; several great-nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins also survive. He was preceded in death by his mother, Laura Belle on January 7, 2004. He will be laid to rest at the Sycamore Cemetery , Rochester.
