Christine was the daughter of Fred and Imogene Foerg Hartle.  She was a devout Catholic that loved animals and her family.  After high school, she went on to study to become a LPN and worked at Woodlawn Hospital in Rochester, IN. Chris continued her education and earned her RN from Bethel College in 1999.  With over 30 years of service to the Rochester community, Chris retired to her home on Nyona Lake.

Growing up, Chris was often found at Schaeffer's Barn playing her accordion and line dancing.  Playing the accordion was a talent taught to her by her dad and she continued to play her entire life. Chris was a huge supporter of veterans. She could often be seen purchasing drinks and dinners for military service men and women to thank them for their sacrifice.  Although her stature was small, her personality and strength was similar to that of dynamite. She was always supportive and proud of her family and friends.

Left to cherish the memory of Aunt Chris are a nephew, Jon (Amy) Hartle of Stafford, VA; a niece, Tracy (David) Hartle-Cochrane of Apopka, FL; and a nephew, Shawn Hartle of Wichita, KS; and numerous great nieces and nephews.

Chris was preceded in death by her older brothers, Wesley (2015) and Kenneth (2020).

A graveside service will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday, February 15, 2024 at St. Peter's Cemetery of Winamac. The  Good Family Funeral Home of Rochester has been entrusted with the services.
