, 2018 at Woodlawn Hospital. This followed a valiant battle with esophageal cancer.

, 1965, Charles Edward "Chuck" Clawson Jr. was born in Plymouth. He was a treasured son of Charles E. and Joan Alspach Clawson. Growing up he shared his shared his childhood with a sister, Melody.
Chuck was a member of the Parkside Community Church in Argos. He was baptized in the Akron Church of God where he spent part of his childhood. He worked in the kitchen of the Main View in North Manchester for many years.
To relax, Chuck enjoyed attending car shows. He loved popcorn, vanilla ice cream and looked forward to receiving the annual carton of Whopper Malted balls at
Christmas
from his niece Tiffany.
John Deere
was his favorite brand. Chuck watched game shows and westerns and enjoyed a variety of puzzles. Always at his side was his treasured friend, Max the black Schnauzer. Chuck was proud of and adored his son Charlie III.
Left to cherish Chuck's memory are his mother Joan Haag of Rochester; son Charles
"Charlie" E. Clawson III of Schereville; sister Melody Gentry and husband Mark of Rochester; niece Tiffany Carrigan and husband Matt of Fort Wayne; nephew Greg Gentry of Columbia City; two great nieces: Maddie and Ellie Carrigan; and his canine companion Max.
Preceding Chuck in death is his father.
A celebration of the life of Mr. Charles E. "Chuck" Clawson Jr. will be at 11:00 AM on

, 2018 in the Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 West 18
th
St., Rochester. Pastor Brian
Trump
will officiate. Friends may visit with the family two hours prior to the service in the funeral home. Burial will follow
in the Athens Hoover Cemetery.
