Mrs. Charlene Wogomon, 51, of Rochester, passed away at 4:21 PM, Wednesday, April 8th, at her residence. On May 2, 1963, Charlene was born in Warsaw to Denvil and Mary Meade Yates. As a proud Viking, Charlene graduated from Tippecanoe Valley High School with the Class of 1981. Charlene and Jerry A. Wogomon were married on June 17, 1994 in Tippecanoe. Enjoying and being with her family was very important to Charlene. She also had a big heart for her canine companion, Foxx Wogomon, a blonde, Lab-Boxer-Golden Retriever. Playing Yahtzee, Skip-Bo and Zap was a great way to spend time with her family and friends. Purple and blue were her favorite colors, whether it was fresh flowers or a Colts shirt, it always warmed her heart. Charlene was a member of the Westside Apostolic Church. She worked at Life Care Center in the Dietary Department, and also as a cashier at Pak-A-Sak. Charlene is lovingly remembered by her husband, Jerry; two daughters: Tirzah Charlene McCloud- Garrett and husband Clarence Garrett of Rochester, Adina Jezreel Keckler and fiancee Toby Pass; a son, Shawn Adam Keckler of Rochester; three sisters: Alicia Jean Miller of Pierceton, Kattie Ann Amburgy and companion Billy Crum of Rochester, Carolyn Shepherd and husband Arnold of Mentone; a brother, Arthur "Bud" Lee Yates and wife Lorene "Diane" of Palestine; grandchildren: Joshua, Jezreel, Jazmin, Shaylea, Clarence and Jasper; and a special nephew, Nathan Miller Preceding Charlene in death are her parents. Chaplain Jason See will officiate services. Interment will be in the Rochester IOOF Cemetery.
