Cathy Lowe  69,  of Rochester, died Sunday, January 15 , 2017 at Hickory Creek, Rochester.

Cathy was born December 16 , 1947 to Robert "Bob-Spud"  Tharp, and Deloris " Dee-Mammaw" Tharp. A lifetime resident of Fulton County, she was a true cowgirl in her day, and a proud farmer's daughter. Cathy was passionate about the family's livestock business, horses, and she loved rodeo. Also known as "Mammaw Cat,"  Cathy dearly loved her family, enjoying taking pictures, not wanting to miss a precious moment of life, or a colt being started in the barn yard.

Cathy is survived by a daughter Dani Lowe; a son Buddy (Angie) Lowe; 7 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.

A celebration of Cat's life will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 21 , 2017,  at the Fulton County Fairgrounds Community Building.  The celebration will be followed by food and fellowship with friends.   In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Fulton County 4-H Fair Association for fairground and rodeo projects at P.O. Box 856, Rochester, IN  46975 or to the funeral home to assist with expenses.
