Carolyn S. Waggoner, 73, of Rochester passed away at 3:31 PM on January 18 , 2020 at her residence.

On June 23 ,1946, Carolyn Sue Hunter was born in Cass County to Joseph and Alvina Doran Hunter.  In 1964 she graduated from Logansport High School. Later she attended Ivy Tech of Logansport for computer studies.

Carolyn and Max Richard Waggoner were married on October 29 ,____.  Their union produced two children Donitta and Anthony.  The family tree continued to grow with the added blessings of two more generations.

With diverse interests and a strong work ethic, Carolyn drove the school bus for North Miami Schools for many years.  Later she worked at Hart-Schaffner-Marx, delivered the Pharos-Tribune and served breakfast with a smile at the Truck Stop.

Gifted with her hands, Carolyn crocheted and knitted hats, scarves and other gifts of warmth for her family and special friends.  Always on the go, she enjoyed shopping trips even just to look and see trending fashions.     Weekends brought on early Saturday morning shopping at yard sales, snagging the deal of the day.  Carolyn also enjoyed just simply shopping and looking at the trending styles.  She was a member of the Denver Baptist Church.

Left to cherish Carolyn's memory are a  daughter, Donitta Montelongo of Rochester; son, Anthony "Tony" Waggoner and wife Janice of  Macy;  three grandchildren: Falisha, Lillyann, Silvia Montelongo; three step-grandchildren; 2 step-great-grandchildren; a sister, Beverly Rose and husband Gary of Logansport; a brother, Joseph Hunter and wife Danya of Florida; and her jet black domestic long hair feline, Dragon.

Preceding Carolyn in death are her parents and husband Max Richard Waggoner on January 22 , 2018.

Private family services will be observed to honor Carolyn's wishes.
