Obituary

Carol Ann Barnette, 83, of Rochester passed away with her loving family at her side on the morning of Thursday, March 20, 2025, at Culver's Miller's Merry Manor.

On July 1, 1941, Carol Ann Master was born in Kewanna.  She was the treasured daughter of Phillip C. and Helen E. Carlson Master and the first of the four Master children. Growing up she shared her childhood with a sister Joyce and two brothers Wayne and Don.  Carol graduated from Monterey High School with her class in 1959.

In November of 1959, Carol married the love of her life Mr. Buddy E. Barnette.  Together they shared over 56 years of life's adventures and from their union came a beautiful daughter Lynn Ann.  The family tree continued to grow with the blessings of two more generations.

With a strong work ethic Carol worked for many years at Burton Mechanical Contractors and AIRVAC as their office manager.  For many years following her retirement she enjoyed the sunshine, surf and sand at Big Pine Key.  Proud to oversee four generations Grandma Carol enjoyed spending time with her family making memories during the holidays and special family celebrations.

Left to cherish Carol's memory are her daughter, Lynn Ann Barnette and husband Mark Stoll of Orlando, FL; a granddaughter, Kyra  Braver and husband Will; a great-granddaughter, Arabella Ann Braver; 3 siblings: Wayne Master and wife Barbara of Greentown, Joyce Boland of Orlando, FL, Don Master and wife Susie of Culver.

Carol's family want to thank the Miller's Merry Manor Staff for the love and compassion they conveyed during her stay.  Also, to Dr. Byron Holm MD and Mandy Maddox FNP for their professionalism and personal care during her stay at Miller's.

A celebration of the life of Carol Ann Barnette will be at 1:00 PM Saturday, March 22, 2025, in the Good family Funeral Home, 1200 West 18th Street, Rochester.  Friends may visit with her family from 11:00 AM until the time of the service.  Pastor Mike Alspauch will officiate.
