Carl E. Mote Jr., 71, of Rochester, passed away peacefully on November 14, 2024, surrounded by his loving and devoted family.

Born on August 6, 1953, in Plymouth, Carl Elmer Jr. entered this world as the beloved son of Carl and Leona Durbin Mote.   He worked in the parts department as a CNC setup technician for Fulton Industries. Carl had a deep and abiding love for animals. Over the years, he opened his heart and home to countless furry friends, taking in many as beloved pets.

Left to cherish Carl's memory are his daughter Stephanie Tate of Rochester; son Jay Mote of Rochester; six wonderful grandchildren: Bryan White. Keyanna Michelle, Mariah Madison, Tru-Jea Marie, Brennon Thomas, and Autumn Breeze; and two brothers: Richard Mote of Kokomo, and Michael Mote of Rochester. Carl was preceded in death by his parents and his grandson Dakota Mote in 1997.

Though Carl is missed, his spirit is ever-present, with his family legacy.   It was Carl's wish for his family to observe a private family celebration.
