Mrs. Candice "Candy" D. Denny, 51, of Rochester, passed away at 4:15 PM, Monday, December 10th, 2012 at Woodlawn Hospital. Candice Darlene Vaughn was born in Osceola, Arkansas on March 20, 1961, the precious daughter of Jolly and Glenda Bailey Vaughn. Growing up she shared her childhood with 3 sisters: Teresa, Pam and Kisia. In 1979 with great pride she graduated from Rochester High School. With great joy for the holidays, Candy decorated her home with seasonal themes. Cooking and hosting celebrations with the family were the best of times. She cherished the visits of her grandchildren and followed many of their activities. There were many memories made on the sparkling waters of Stafford Lake swimming, fishing and floating. They all enjoyed camping out and setting by the campfire on crisp autumn nights, under the starlit skies. Candy is lovingly remembered by her husband Kenny Denny; 2 sons: Ryan Easterday & wife Debra of Rochester, Neal Easterday & wife Rochelle of Warsaw; 3 Step-daughters: Crystal Mitchell & husband Scott of Kewanna, Faye Patton, Kimberly Patton of Akron; parents Jolly & Glenda Vaughn of Rochester; 3 sisters: Teresa Norrell & husband Kurt of Cuero, TX, Pamela Gagnon & husband Robert of Rochester, Kisia Ulery & husband Rod of Rochester; 17 grandchildren including: Katherine, Tyler, and Lindsey Beebout, Savannah Stephens, Dakotah and Xander Easterday, Sha`Denny, Jonathon and Katlyn Mitchell; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles & cousins also survive. She was preceded in death by an infant granddaughter Elizabeth Faye Marie Easterday. A dinner celebrating Candy's life will be held on Sunday, December 16th from noon till six at Rochester's Comfort Inn Hospitality room, 289 McDonald Drive. Everyone who would like to share memories and remember the good times is invited.
