Bruce A. Mayhew, 54, of Kewanna passed away at 11:21 PM on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at Memorial Hospital of South Bend.

On November 16, 1968, Bruce Allen was born in Rochester to Marvin M. and Patricia Ann White Mayhew.  Growing up he shared his childhood with a brother Michael and two sisters Rhonda and Catherine.

Bruce was a machinist and worked as a metal fabricator. He cherished the time with his family and often bicycled around the county with them. As a member of the Global Harvest Church, he was very active in their ministries.

Left to cherish the Bruce's memory are his mother, Pat Borden and fiancé Ron Sweany of Rochester; father, Marvin Mayhew and wife Sue of Rochester; two sisters: Rhonda Herrell of Rochester, Catherine Ousley of Rochester; brother Michael Herrell and wife Kim of Kewanna; his blended family includes children Jennifer White and husband Larry, TJ White, Cassandra White; grandchildren: Kristiannah, Arabellah, Blaide, Caisyn, Zaryah, Emmalynn, Oliver; nieces and nephews: Brittany, Aaron, Mikey, Corina, Dale, Tehya, Sydney, Benjamin; and several aunts, uncle and cousins.

Preceding Bruce in death are infant twin sons David C. and Daniel C. Mayhew in 2003.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
