Blake Scroggs, 36, of Delong passed away at 2:04 PM on Tuesday, May 10, 2022.

On January 29, 1986, William Blake was born in Plymouth to William H. and Judy Ann Stevens Scroggs. Growing up he shared his childhood with an older sister, Ashley and a younger brother, Levi.  He was a member of the Class of 2004 at Culver Community High School. Representing the Cavaliers, he played football and baseball.

Uncle Blake cherished the time playing with his nieces and nephews. Being very social, he always enjoyed being around people to visit and catch up on their lives. To relax, he read Stephen King novels and played video games. Blake worked as a cook in area restaurants.

Left to cherish the memories of Blake are his mother Judy Scroggs and companion Mark Pratt of Delong; sister, Ashley Buschman and husband Michael of Culver;  brother, Levi Scroggs and wife Mikaela of Ora; six nieces and nephews:  Ryane Buschman, Kael Buschman, Oliver Buschman, Ayden Minix, Clay Scroggs, Norah Scroggs; and numerous aunts, uncles,  and cousins.

Preceding Blake in death is his father.

A celebration of the life of William Blake Scroggs will be at 12 noon on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 in the Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 West 18 ^th St., Rochester. Friends may visit with the family from 4-7 PM on Monday, May 16, 2022 and one hour prior to the services in the funeral home on Tuesday.
