Mrs. Beverly Raya, 70, of Rochester, passed away at 2:00  PM on Thursday, May 19 , 2016 at Miller's Merry Manor of Warsaw.

On February 2 , 1946, Beverly was born in Warsaw to Richard and Edna Crowl  Brower. She shared her childhood with a brother, Jack.

Beverly and Manuel Raya were married on March 8 , 1969 in Webb County, TX. He passed away in 2008.

As a CNA, Beverly worked at a nursing home. In her spare time she enjoyed being with her grandchilren.

Beverly is  survived by  a daughter, Angel Parker and companion Lavon Hochstetler of Mentone;  three grandchildren: Rebecca Miller, Noah Raya, Jesse Raya; a brother, Jack Brower and wife Jeanine of Rochester; brother-in-law, Benito Raya of Syracuse; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding Beverly in death are her parents and husband.

A celebration of the life of Beverly Raya will be at 3:00 PM  on Monday, May 23 , 2016 in the Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 West 18th St., Rochester. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.
