Bernice Miller, 74, formerly of Plymouth and Rochester, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on August 2, 2026, at her home in Lafayette, TN, following a recent illness.

Born on May 6, 1952, in Oil Springs, Kentucky, Bernice was the cherished daughter of the late Robie and Myrtle Conley. She spent her childhood years growing up in a large family alongside her many brothers and sisters. On December 29, 1990, in Plymouth, Indiana, she was joined in marriage to Jeffrey Miller, with whom she shared over 35 years of love and companionship.

Bernice was a dedicated worker, spending many years at Reynolds Manufacturing in Bourbon, IN, and Digger Specialties in Bremen, IN.

Outside of work, Bernice loved shopping various estate and yard sales, always seeking and discovering treasures that brought joy to her days. Her greatest joy and absolute treasure in life, however, was her family. Bernice adored her grandchildren, cherishing every moment spent together and taking great pride in watching them grow. Undeterred by her recent diagnosis of lung cancer and multiple hospitalizations, Bernice lived with intention to create lasting memories with her grandchildren and travel across the country to visit her family.

Left to cherish the memories of Bernice are her husband, Jeffrey Miller; daughters: Jada Miller (Wayne) of Kokomo and Aspen Miller of Lafayette, TN; sons: Adam Miller (Sasha) and Cody Miller (Kristie Roberts, companion) all of Lafayette, TN, David (Cindy) Mounts of Seattle, WA; grandchildren: Ollie Mounts, Ocean Mounts, Logan Gaines, Ian Miller, Jozlyn Miller, Landon Miller, Leland Aldrich, Alex Brown, Elizabeth Brown, Joe Miller, and Abby Miller; sisters: Sara Burke (Dick) of Ossow, MI, and Edith Damer (Ken) of Lafayette, TN; brothers: Robin Conley (Patty) of Lebanon, TN, Darrell Conley of Burket, IN, and Gary Conley of Plymouth, IN; sister-in-law, Sylvia Conley of Silver Lake, IN; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceding Bernice in death are her parents; daughter, Misty Mounts; sister, Easter Conley; and brothers: Roger Conley, Paul Conley, and Lester Conley.

Family and friends are invited to gather for graveside services on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the Rochester IOOF Cemetery in Rochester, Indiana.
