Barbara Ann Calvert Tullis of Tippecanoe passed away at 8:55 AM on Monday, November 8 , 2021 at her home with her husband by her side.
On August 15 , 1943, Barbara was born in Rochester to Forrest A. and Edna Marie Harris Calvert. Growing up she shared her childhood with four sisters and five brothers. She was a member of the class of 1961 of Rochester High School.
Barb and Buddy J. Tullis were married on October 7 , 1966 at the Beaver Dam United Methodist Church. They shared 55 years of life and all those daughters.
Barb and Bud were the owners of Chamberlin's Bar for several years and grew to love all of their "Bar Kids". Barb retired from Torin (Lau) in 2008, after 40+ years. Barb loved to travel, having getaway weekends with her daughters and sitting on her porch watching the river go by.
Left to cherish the memories of Barb are her husband Bud; five children: Sherri Eiler and husband Rod, Gaston; Cheryl Knee and husband Jim, Pleasant View, TN, Brenda Gorr, Bourbon, Lisa Tullis and wife Lachelle, Warsaw, Ginger Gosselin and husband Peter, Kenosha, WI; 11 grandchildren: Jacob Eiler, Jared Knee, Derek Knee, Carissa (Knee) Bagley, Joe Gorr, Heather Gorr, Brody Cooper, Logan Cooper, Trisha Gosselin, Erica Gosselin; 12 great grandchildren and another due to arrive in March 2022 ; two sisters: Carol Saenz of Mishawaka, Helen Enyart and husband Dick of Rochester; her chosen sister, Diann Grube; the bar kids; numerous nieces and nephews; and the list goes on.
Preceding Barbara in death are her parents; two sisters: Mary Rock, Clara Reeser; and five Calvert brothers: Pete, Bob, Bill, Ralph and Jim.
A celebration of the life of Barbara Ann Calvert Tullis will be at 5:00 PM on Wednesday, November 10 , 2021 at the Good Family Funeral home, 1200 West 18 th St., Rochester. Pastor Teri White will officiate. Friends may visit with the family from 3-5 on Wednesday in the funeral home.
