Mr. Aubrey M. Jones, 87, of Rochester, passed away at 2:17 PM, Monday, March 21 , 2016 at Woodlawn Hospital.

On December 22 , 1928, Aubrey was born in Shelby County, IL to Harry and Vangie Ripley Jones. Growing up he shared his childhood with three sisters and three brothers.

Aubrey and Mary Ann Virden were married on March 3 , 1950. They have shared 66 years of life's adventures. Their union produced two daughters and three sons. Two more generations have been added to the family tree with eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Aubrey and Mary Ann were the owners and operators of A&M Trucking. He was a member of the Teamsters Union, the Eagles Fraternal Lodge and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary # 1343.

Aubrey is lovingly remembered by his wife, Mary Ann; two daughters: Charlotte Ramsey and husband Roger of Shelby Township, MI, and Beverly Floor and husband Mark of Akron; three sons: Richard Jones of Etna Green, Michael Jones and wife Pam of Talma, Dan Jones and wife Jennifer of Claypool; eight grandchildren: Fred Jones, Matt Jones, Melody "Mel" Jones, Rachelle Heldt, Jennifer Wu, Sarah Jones, Hannah Jones, Jesse Floor; five great grandchildren: Jacob and Emily Heldt, Mason Wu, Luke Jones, Korbin Schoettmer; two sisters: Maureen McMillan of NM, Janice Hamilton and husband Charlie of NC; three brothers: Floyd Jones of Decatur, IL, Larry Jones and wife Dot of New Buffalo, MI, Carroll Jones and wife Susie of Assumption, IL; many nieces and nephews; and best friend, Jasper Dulin of Rochester.

Preceding Aubrey in death are his parents and sister, Donna Becker of MO.

Chaplain Jason See will officate services. Interment will be in the Rochester IOOF Cemetery.
