Mr. Atma Singh Sandher, 78, of Rochester was surrounded by his loving family when he passed away at 1:52 PM on Monday, December 21 , 2020 at his home.

On April 12 , 1942, in Sandhra, India, Atma was born to Ramsingh and Ratten Kaur Sandher.

In Pajjodeota, India on February 26 , 1963,  Atma and Mohinder Kaur were married.

Prior to his retirement, while living in India, Mr. Sandher was an elementary school principal.

Left to cherish Atma's memory are two daughters, Preety Mashiana and husband Nindy of Rochester, Gurpreet Thundal of Khanduwel, India; son Varinder Singh Sandher and wife Kameljeet of Tracy, CA;  grandchildren: Atinderpaul Singh and wife Jessica, Hashmet Kaur Mashiana, Naveen Singh, Isheen Singh, Savreen Thundel, Gurleen Thundel; and a great-grandson Liam.

Preceding Atma in death are his parents, beloved wife, Mohinder February 28 ,1990, and a son Kuldeep Singh.

A celebration of the life of Mr. Atma Singh Sandher will be at 11:00 AM on Sunday, December 27 , 2020, in the Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 West 18th St., Rochester. Harpal Singh will officiate.
