Arthur Ray Spencer, JR, 53, of Rochester passed away at 9:38 PM on Saturday, March 21, 2020 at his mother's home.  This followed a valiant battle with cancer.

On April 6, 1966,   Junior was born in Fulton County.  Named for his Dad, he was the  treasured son of Arthur Ray SR and Judy Mehrley Spencer.  Junior was a lifetime Fulton County resident, graduating in 1985 from Rochester High School.

In Rochester, Junior and Paula Fugate were married on September 29, 1985.

As a  talented mechanic, Junior worked for Dave Hurst Farming and Trucking of Athens. To relax, he could often be found fly fishing at the Woodlawn pond.  He loved fishing and would always catch, then release. He also enjoyed computer gaming and surfing the "net.".

Left to cherish the memories of Junior are his mother, Judy Spencer of Rochester; four sons: Raymond Spencer and wife Sara of Mentone, Ryan Spencer and wife Ariel of Argos, Brandon Spencer and wife Cheyenne of Rochester, Blaze Spencer and fiancé Lyne Macaya of the Philippines; five grandchildren: Mason Lee Spencer, Macie Jade Spencer, Marie Lillyann Spencer, Peyton Lee Ann Spencer, Nova Star Spencer; sister, Kim Witmer and husband Stan of North Manchester; brother, Stacey Spencer and fiancé Amber of Rochester; and life friend, Paula Bruner of Rochester.

Preceding Junior in death is his father, Arthur Ray Spencer SR, on May 4, 2016.

Family services celebrating Junior's life will be held at a later date.
