Mrs. Annie Lewis, 84 of Macy passed away at 5:20 PM on Monday, November 3, 2014 at her daughter's home. On February 2, 1930, Annie was born in Prestonburg, Kentucky to Bert and Audie Howard Damron. She was one of 14 children, the second oldest daughter. Annie and Harold Lewis were married on July 1, 1950 in Logansport. They shared 60 1/2 years of life's adventures until he passed away on May 11, 2011. After 45 years of service, Annie retired from RBM. She was a life member of the VFW and the Eagles of Rochester. Being very crafty, she enjoyed crocheting, embroidering, and making dolls. Manicuring her lawn was another favorite pastime. Annie is lovingly remembered by two daughters: Pam Wentz and husband George of Macy, and Sandy Click and husband Edward of Denver; a son, Dean Damron and wife Paula of North Manchester; 10 grandchildren: Tracy Lewis, Joe Ault, Barbie Jimenez and husband Louis, Amber Bueno and husband Juan, Sheila Oliver and husband Darin, Chris Damron and wife Missy, Eric Damron and wife Lori, Beth Starkweather and husband Keith, Brian Perterson and wife Lori, Paul Eytcheson Jr. and wife Lisa; 27 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren; five sisters: Dottie Hutchison and husband John of Rochester, Beatrice Gilland and husband Dick of Rochester, Lottie Smoker and husband Ed of Rochester, Ellen Conley and husband Jim of Rochester, Sue Shuey and husband Marty of Rensselear; a brother, Carl Damron and wife Rachel of Rochester; sister-in-law Betty Holloway and husband Jack of Kewanna; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding Annie in death are her parents, husband, a son, Paul Eytcheson, grandson Jason Click, sister Judy Croussore, and 6 brothers: Dewey, Johnnie, Berle, Luther and 2 in infancy. Granddaughter Sheila Oliver will officiate services. Interment will be in the Citizens Cemetery.
