Mrs. Anna Mae Rice, 79, of Rochester, passed away at 7:45 AM, Wednesday, May 11th, 2011 at Woodlawn Hospital, Rochester. She was born in Marshall County on May 17, 1931, to Henry G. and Audra Croy Altheide. On January 3, 1953 Anna and Allen D. Rice were married in LaPorte. He preceded on April 26, 1982. Aunt Anna is survived by 3 nephews: Keith Boyd and wife Marcella of Rochester, Terry Porter and wife Janice of Rochester, Karl Boyd and wife Peggy of Noblesville, 2 Niece-in-laws: Barb Boyd of Rochester, Linda Porter of Bruce Lake (Kewana), Niece: Nancy Swango and husband Mike of Haggerstown, MD. She was preceded in death by her parents and husbands. A celebration of the life of Anna M. Rice will be at 12, noon on Saturday, May 14, 2011 in the Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 W. 18th St., Rochester, with Pastor Brian Sewell officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 10 to 12 on Saturday in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Hope Hospice of Fulton County. Interment will be in the Richland Center IOOF Cemetery.
