Anna Marie Neher, 67, of Culver was surrounded by her loving family when she passed away Sunday afternoon, June 9, 2024 at her home.

On September 13, 1956, Anna Marie Lemar was born.  She was the treasured daughter of George Edgar and Teresa Lemar. Growing up she shared her childhood with two brothers and a sister: David, Jerry and Cindee.  With great Cavalier pride she graduated from Culver Community High School with her class in 1974.

At Culver, Anna Marie married the love of her life Mr. Donald Duane Neher on June 22, 1991.  Together they shared over 32 years of life's adventures.  With common interests and a strong work ethic, Don and Anna teamed as truck driving professionals, hauling their loads to the California coast. Many memories were made at Huntington Beach, CA watching the beautiful sunsets over the Pacific Ocean.  Her memberships include the Culver VFW # 6919 and the Culver Lion's Club.

To relax, Anna enjoyed reading murder mysteries.  During her formative years she spent time at the beach at Lake Maxinkuckee.  This sparked an interest and passion for exploring beaches and the surf.

Left to cherish Anna's memory are her husband Don of Culver; children: Tarah Lemar of Culver, Justin George Neher and wife Sarah of Indianapolis; 5 grandchildren including identical twins Aubin Lemar and Brady Lemar, Cain Lemar, Emma Lemar-Shook, Jasmine Neher; 6 great-grandchildren: Marlee, Theresa, Anthony, Oliver, Hank and Hudson; a brother, David Lemar and wife Marilyn of Benton City, Washington; canine companion Jake the Golden Retriever-Cocker Spaniel custom blend; and her felines, Ralph and Norton.

Welcoming Anna to Heaven are her parents; siblings Cindee Lemar Carlson, Jerry Lemar; and a grandson, Tristan Lemar Palm.

A celebration of the life of Anna Marie Neher will be at 2:00 PM, Monday, June 10, 2024, in the Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 West 18th Street, Rochester.  There will be a visitation for friends an hour prior to her services.
